See the Layout of the swHw Business Tracker

Are you ready to see the inside of the swHw Business Tracker? Let's dig in! Each tracker contains 6 sections you’ll get to know very well: GUIDE The Guide section is 24-pages, jam-packed with business truthbombs. Yes, its main purpose is to help you be able to utilize the tracker to its fullest, but it will also help you run your business both more efficiently and most importantly, in a way that is Spirit-led. Our influencers agree the Guide section alone is worth the entire price of the tracker. And that’s just the beginning! NMW (No Matter Whats) The only thing that I don’t like about using paper resources is the chore of writing down reoccurring tasks over and over again. So we included a tab for your convenience to easily access this section where you can write down up to 10 regularly reoccurring tasks for your day and 10 reoccurring tasks for your week. Then, in your weekly and daily sections, you’ll have a chance to mark off when they’re all complete. QUARTERLY Because business can change so quickly due to things outside of our control (new social media platforms, new opportunities, changing markets/trends, etc.), it’s hard to [...]

What is the swHw Business Tracker NOT?

By |2020-05-08T13:38:36-04:00November 27th, 2017|Branding, Business|

Last time, I told you all about what the tracker is. So I thought today, I would share with you what it’s NOT. You ready? Let’s go! It’s NOT a planner. You’ll need a place where you can keep your schedule (if you have a lot of appointments), your kids’ school schedule, church activities, etc. And you won’t find room for any of those, with the exception of a few key dates for your business every month, inside the swHw Business Tracker. This is not designed to organize your life. It’s designed to track business progress and keep you laser focused on doing business God’s way. It’s NOT a general goal-setting tool. We believe in being well-rounded when it comes to goals. You should set goals that incorporate your marriage, your family, your health, etc. But the only goals you’ll set inside the swHw Business Tracker pages are business related. Again, not because we believe setting goals in other areas aren’t worthy endeavors. It’s just not the point of the swHw Business Tracker. It’s NOT a shortcut. Inside the pages, you’ll find many tips (particularly in the Guide section!) that will help you run your business in ways that [...]

What is the swHw Business Tracker?

Our world today has more distractions than ever, and our businesses are no exception. I mean, with the distraction of social media alone, you could work for hours every day without really accomplishing anything. But it goes beyond distraction. So many business owners consistently confuse marketing with business activity. Yes, marketing matters! But that doesn't change that you have to have systems to deliver on your marketing promises. The best marketing in the world can't fix a faulty product/service. So we wanted to create a resource that fills in the gaps. A resource that exposes the highlight reel, that purposely guides our grind and most importantly, makes sure that our work is geared to bring God glory. Here's the truth: Businesses are built one day at a time, one person at a time. And anyone who tells you otherwise wants something from you more than they want something for you. So that's what the swHw business tracker does: it prioritizes the behind-the-scenes work required to build a thriving business, while simultaneously providing a detailed roadmap to plan so you're never behind, complete with the appropriate motive checks. Every tracker represents one quarter of business activity. From evaluation questions to [...]

End the Glam, Guide the Grind, Give God the Glory

“Buy followers from us for your social media account! Make everyone else think they’re missing out.” “Don’t re-invent the wheel! Just duplicate this process, and you’ll bring in money every month.” “With us, you set flexible work hours. Work when you want, where you want, and still score a paycheck!” That’s the world we live in, right? Everywhere you turn, someone is trying to teach you how to make more money with less work. They hook you with a shortcut. And not just any shortcut. With just a few “easy” payments, you can bypass some of the hard trenches of business ownership. Or so they claim. Today, it’s time to get real. I’m tired of the false claims and cheap promises. Business ownership is not easy. And anyone who tells you that it is wants something from you more than they want something for you.  Is business ownership worth it? Yes. Would I trade what I do for any other job? Absolutely not. But it’s not easy. Business ownership is not fancy trips, cool websites, styled photoshoots, gaining “followers” and constant approval and affirmation. (Although, that’s easily the perception on social media!) But business ownership, especially if you’re here [...]

Leading Well on Your Hardest Day

By |2020-05-08T15:35:47-04:00July 20th, 2017|Branding, Business, Faith, Faith-Based Leadership|

Tuesday started out like any other normal work day. I (Rachel) had just onboarded a new team member (an incredible web designer) who had been filling in on an ad-hoc basis for a few months. I was excited to get him started on some new projects, so I gave my new team member a few instructions about setting up the new theme and went on my merry way. Within a few short hours, everything had fallen apart. Okay, okay, I’m being a little extra-dramatic for effect here. But honestly it FELT like everything had fallen apart! My new team member accidentally took down my ENTIRE website – actually, MULTIPLE websites (thankfully all my own). Basically, everything I had ever built online vanished in just a few clicks. For someone who makes her living running an ONLINE business, to be without an ONLINE presence is pretty much the kiss of death. I’ll be totally transparent — I spent the first few minutes in panic mode. While most of the sites were test sites with outdated material, this server hosted my main membership site where customers and clients regularly view content. Within a few minutes of the site going down, we [...]
