How To Start a Discipleship Group (it’s easier than you think)

Step 1: Ask God to show you who you need to invite and then invite them. Step 2: Be serious about studying God's Word on your own, asking Him for wisdom as you read. Step 3: When your group or individual shows up, open your Bibles and start reading together. Bonus tip: Having a cheese board or dessert tray for this step won't hurt. Step 4: If they have questions that you don't know the answer to, be honest and in between meeting, ask your pastor or a trusted mentor for guidance so you can come back with clarity. Step 5: Watch as Jesus makes you and the person/people you're discipling more like Him. It's the most amazing thing you'll ever experience. Matthew 28:19 tells believers to go and make disciples, so if you're a Christ follower that command is to you. Don't over-complicate it and definitely don't stress over it. The tongue (and our thumbs!) can do a lot of damage + it’s easier than ever to be careless with what we say.
