The word "wisdom" gets thrown around more than it should. Wisdom is often equated with knowledge or information, when wisdom is both greater than and distinct from both. You wouldn't be here if you didn't want wisdom. So here are two truths to guide us as we seek to be wise: #1: We cannot be wise without God. Proverbs 9:10 tells us, "The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom." Proverbs 2:6 reminds us God is the Giver of wisdom. James 3:17 notes wisdom comes "from above." Threaded throughout Scripture, God is always the sole Source of wisdom. Reminder: where God is not, wisdom is not. #2: God is insanely generous with His wisdom. James 1:5 puts it plainly: "But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all generously and without reproach, and it will be given to him." God doesn't keep His wisdom solely for Himself. His wisdom is available to all who are willing to ask Him for it. Reminder: Wisdom is asked for, not accumulated. Ever had a moment when overthinking made you feel paralyzed -- even when you kept moving? We've been there, and we just wanted to take a moment to be super transparent with those of you here: We've been holding back. Some of what has kept us back has been good intentions. We've stayed away from using the word "discipleship" because some of what we offer requires payment, and we've battled how we would respond to any pushback over "charging" for discipleship. None of those are untrue. But they're not the best description of what happens here. And none really communicate the main mission of this ministry. We're here for discipleship. We believe the local church is God's Plan A for gospel community, and that's why over and over again, you'll hear us point you back to your church and elevate the local church. You'll see us partner with pastors + ministry leaders whenever we can. And we're up front about our belief that if if you [...]

Have you had one of these questions run through your mind recently? 1. Burnout. It's happening and it's real.Encouragement? Advice? 2. I know you answer this all the time... but I feel like social media changes so fast that your answer may change... what would you tell us to do if we're social media frustrated but have to show up there anyway? 3. I have zero issues doing the work God has called me to do. But I cannot stand marketing myself. But if I don't market myself, I feel like I can't do the work God has called me to do. How do we obey God in this tension? 4. I feel like it's really important that my teenager knows why I believe so differently about certain things than culture, but every time I try to share, it is met with anger and almost seems to push them further away. I am trying so hard to do it with love, can you help me know how to have a conversation that won't end so badly every time? 5. My husband is not interested in praying together [...]
