Michelle Myers’ live class on Wednesday left us encouraged and super challenged to live our lives different than the world. We define success differently, so we should also live our lives in a way that goes hand in hand with that.
She shared five points to the swHw “secret” sauce:
- IMPORTANT > urgent
- DISCIPLINE > legalism
- BUSY ON MISSION > busybody
- OTHERS > me
- Solitude AND community > solitude OR community
As Michelle shared, let’s channel our ambition for the Kingdom!
When Michelle Myers said, “It grieves me to see ambition belong to the world,” our heads (and hearts!) exploded a little as she followed that statement up with the quote above. Ambition alone isn’t sin – our ambition separated from our one true purpose IS.
This class will encourage you, inspire you, and most importantly, challenge you to take Hebrews 12:1-2 to heart so you can RUN!
“Therefore, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us also lay aside every weight, and sin which clings so closely, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, looking to Jesus, the founder and perfecter of our faith.”
