As believers, it’s our responsibility to never be so out of touch with the world that we neglect the people who don’t know Jesus yet or don’t understand how following Christ transforms our worldview. So if you want to be a light in the darkness, you have to be okay walking into a room that is dark, and even more, you have to be aware of the hearts that are in that room so that you can lovingly speak the Truth without accidentally forcing your own point of view that might cause more harm than good. Division is a disease that will destroy but unity among believers is the cure. And that’s what class was all about the week.

One of our favorite parts of the Assume They’re In The Room class was Somer’s reminder that as Christians we have to be “In it, not of it,” and what that practically looks like for us in our everyday life, our workplaces, and even our churches.
