Last time, I told you all about what the tracker is. So I thought today, I would share with you what it’s NOT. You ready? Let’s go!
It’s NOT a planner.
You’ll need a place where you can keep your schedule (if you have a lot of appointments), your kids’ school schedule, church activities, etc. And you won’t find room for any of those, with the exception of a few key dates for your business every month, inside the swHw Business Tracker.
This is not designed to organize your life. It’s designed to track business progress and keep you laser focused on doing business God’s way.
It’s NOT a general goal-setting tool.
We believe in being well-rounded when it comes to goals. You should set goals that incorporate your marriage, your family, your health, etc. But the only goals you’ll set inside the swHw Business Tracker pages are business related. Again, not because we believe setting goals in other areas aren’t worthy endeavors. It’s just not the point of the swHw Business Tracker.
It’s NOT a shortcut.
Inside the pages, you’ll find many tips (particularly in the Guide section!) that will help you run your business in ways that honor the Lord and serve your customers and clients.
But it’s not easy. There’s no secret sauce. And there’s no shortcut.
These pages will ask you the right questions to prompt you to taking the right actions in your business. If you know your business purpose, you’re actively serving those God has called you to serve, and you couldn’t be more excited to dig into the trenches of worthy work, this is the resource for you!
It’s NOT for the non business-owner.
We don’t believe everyone is called to own a business. It doesn’t mean we love you less. But if you don’t own a business, you probably won’t benefit from this tool yourself. (But got a friend who has a business? Perfect Christmas gift – we promise you, she’ll love it!)
It’s NOT just an Instagram-worthy post.
Alright, so this one might be a little bit of a pet-peeve. And while this gorgeous blush pink resource screams, “I couldn’t be more Instagrammable!” please don’t buy it if you just plan to post a pic on social media.
Only buy it if you plan to use it.
As I’ve already said, it’s not a shortcut. You will have to execute lots of brain power, servant leadership, time in prayer and behind-the-scenes elbow grease to benefit from these pages.
But oh, will it ever be worth it!
