What is the difference between pursuing merely momentum and actively pursuing God’s power? Like Michelle Myers said in class, maybe the reason we constantly find ourselves frustrated in this tension of constantly desiring more momentum is because we are expecting God-sized results without doing God-based activity.
We walked through eight questions, all stemming from the first few chapters in the book of Acts, digging into HOW it was possible that the same disciples who fled when Jesus was arrested were also the same men who led the explosive growth of the local church.
But here’s the one question that all the other questions hang on:
are you living on the right side of your testimony?
When was the last time you really thought about what your life was like before Christ and how putting your faith in Him changed everything? Are you still LIVING in the power of what Christ has done in your life?
